Dr. Kumari Priyanka Jayasooriya is a senior lecturer in the Department of Modem Languages of the University of Kelaniya. She completed her BA degree at the University of Kelaniya and MA & PhD at the Nanjing Normal University, Nanjing, People’s Republic of China. She has been a member of the syllabus revision team and Teachers Guide for Advanced Level & Ordinary Level Chinese Language at the National Institute of Education in Sri Lanka. She has awarded Professional Trainer on Teaching and Teaching Materials Hanban/ Confucius Institute Headquarters, P R of China 2011 and she serves as a Co-Director for the Confucius Institute, University of Kelaniya.
