Cui Xiliang
Cui Xiliang is a professor of linguistics and applied linguistics, a doctoral supervisor, the president of Beijing Language and Culture University, an executive director of the Chinese Linguistics Society, the vice president of the World Chinese Language Teaching Society, and the president of the Beijing Linguistic Society. The main research direction is modern Chinese grammar and Chinese idioms. He has published more than 40 papers on linguistics, including “Chinese Idioms and the World of Chinese Humanities”, “Language Understanding and Cognition”, “Introduction to Linguistics”, etc. He was awarded the title of Outstanding Young Backbone Teachers in Beijing Higher Education Institutions and was selected as a cross-century outstanding talent of the Ministry of Education.
